This cozy restaurant serves traditional Swiss and international food, just a short walk from the main station and the lake in the centre of Zurich.
Worth a visit are the specialties including “Zürcher Geschnetzeltes”, Wienerschnitzelm, and the Lemon Ravioli. During the warm months, their outdoor garden is regarded as one of the most picturesque in town. The wine list offers a wide variety of Swiss and international selections. |

Now in its third generation, Hiltl is Europe's first vegetarian restaurant (since 1898). The emphasis is on freshness, with ingredients purchased daily from farm suppliers that grow their own vegetables, preferably organic.
Everything is prepared fresh from scratch, gently cooked by their own 20 chefs. Hiltl is famous for its lunchtime vegetarian buffet, featuring some 50 homemade salads and hot dishes,
and also an Indian buffet in the evening. Breakfasts are also very popular. The full bar mixes fresh fruit juice cocktails, and offers a wide choice of Swiss and international wines.
