Obviously there is a superior listing for Trinidad and Guyanese Rum! Or the people who have compiled this list have NO CLUE about good rum

My favourite dark rum is Appleton Estates! Very smooth and reasonably priced.

Barcardi Reserva Limitada should be on this list -- delicious, but hard to get. Know of only two places it can be bought: Barcardi factory in San Juan and Barcardi's store in downtown Nassua. Last time I checked, they will not ship it. You have to go there to get it. Does anyone know where else it can be bought?

I noticed that you did not mention the Rum of Nicaraqua Flor De Cana. I know that this Rum has been a front runner up with many awards for a top Rum 7 it also has Rum aged pass 25 years. Thanks Art.

Cavalier 5 Year Old (Antigua) and English Harbour 5 year Old (Antigua) are both superior to some of the ones on your list.

This list does NOT include Ron Pampero Aniversario Reserva Exclusiva (Venezuela) or Neisson Rhum Reserve Speciale (Martinique)...two of the best in the world.....

Tue. June 2, 2009 12:00 PM - by: bogger
what a stupid list ... no Cuban brands ?????? is this the us-embargo or what's the reason for that ?? taste some matusalem or havana clubs "barrell proof" thats real rum !!!

Mon. May 18, 2009 12:00 PM - by: Neil
This list is absolutely ridiculous. Guyana's El Dorado rum has won more world titles than 80% of the brands listed here.

Wed. April 15, 2009 6:28 PM - by: Aileen Robbins
Suggested addition to the list: Pampero Ron Añejo (Venezuela), an elegant smooth aged rum which comes in a leather pouch.

I've tried about 12 of these rum in your list and they are great but you do not have Rum Flor de Cana from Nicaragua. 18 yrs aged or 15 yrs aged or even the 7 yrs age. How come they did not make this list?
