Aloha from Brooklyn!
(Brooklyn Gin)
The fellas at Brooklyn Gin love a good umbrella drink, and they found that this little number cuts through the heat of a long New York summer like no other. A healthy backbone of Brooklyn Gin, with a bit of fresh pineapple and lime, along with a bit of spice and nuttiness, is just the thing when the mercury is high. They'll put their feet up, and have three.

 

Ingredients
1.5 oz Brooklyn Gin
1 oz fresh pineapple juice
.5 oz fresh lime juice
.5 oz blue curacao
.25 oz cinnamon bark syrup
.25 oz toasted orgeat syrup

Garnish: fresh orchid, orange slice, umbrella
Glass: rocks
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Shake over ice. Strain and serve over crushed ice in a short rocks glass. Garnish with a fresh orchid, orange slice, and paper umbrella.

Black Button Citrus Gimlet
(Black Button Distilling)
A modern twist on the classic Gimlet. The Black Button Classic Citrus Gimlet is the perfect refreshing summer time drink for Gin drinker and non-Gin drinker alike.

 

Ingredients
2 oz Black Button Distilling Citrus Forward Gin
1 oz Rose's® lime juice

Garnish: lime wedge
Glass: cocktail
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Fill Glass halfway with ice to chill. Add 2 parts Gin & 1 part Rose's lime juice to cocktail shaker. Shake minimum 5 times. Strain into glass approximately 2 or 3 oz.

Black Button Citrus Gimlet

Brooklyn Cherry Rickey
(Original cocktail by Laura Lashley, Bar Manager at The Breslin Bar & Dining Room)

 

Ingredients
2 oz Brooklyn Gin
1 oz fresh cherry reduction
0.5 oz fresh pressed lime juice
1 oz soda water

Garnish: lime wheels and cherries
Glass: rocks

Instructions
Add gin, cherry reduction, and fresh lime juice to a shaker tin. Add ice, and shake it like it offended your momma (and NOBODY gets away with offending our momma). Strain into highball glass, and top with chilled soda water. Garnish with a lime wheel and cherry. Alternatively, throw it all into a punch bowl over a large block of ice, and ladle into punch cups.

Intriguingly different and uncommonly sophisticated - Curious Madame is a drink designed with our friends and neighbors at Catskill Mountain Sugar House using their Honey Syrup creating a cocktail that is home grown from the Catskill Mountains in every way.

 

Ingredients
0.75 oz Catskill Distilling Co. Curious Gin
0.375 oz Catskill Mountain Sugar House honey syrup
0.25 oz lemon juice

Glass: cocktail
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Curious Gin, honey syrup and lemon juice, chilled and shaken. Poured Chilled and Shaken into cocktail class and serve straight.

Finger-Stirred Negroni
(Campari)
Created in 1919 in Florence, per the request of Count Camilo Negroni.

 

Ingredients
1.0 oz Campari
1 oz Cinzano Rosso Vermouth
1 oz Tanqueray Gin

Garnish: Orange Twist
Glass: Rocks
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Pour ingredients over ice into a shaker. Stir and strain in a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with an orange twist.

Finger-Stirred Negroni

Greenpoint Spritz

Ingredients
1.5 oz Greenhook American Dry Gin
0.5 oz Aperol
2 oz Fever Tree Tonic

Garnish: orange slice
Glass: highball
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Stir. Serve.

Ingredients
2 oz Tanqueray® No. TEN Gin
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz Thai Basil Base
3 Fresh Pink Grapefruit
4 Thai Basil Leaves
1 dash Grapefruit Bitters

Garnish: Grapefruit Wedge and Thai Basil Leaf
Glass: Rocks
Ice: crushed

Instructions
Muddle fresh grapefruit and thai basil. Add all other liquid ingredients. Fill rocks glass with crushed ice. Add grapefruit bitters to rocks glass with crushed ice. Strain over glass. Garnish with grapefruit wedge and thai basil leaf on skewer.

Ingredients
1.0 oz Half Moon Orchard Gin
2.0 oz Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur
2 oz Poland Spring Lemon Seltzer

Garnish: Mint Sprigs and Lime Wheels
Glass: Martini 7 oz.
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Combine Barrows and Half Moon in a punch bowl. Add lime wheels. Pour over ice in a martini glass. Add Poland Spring Lemon Selzer. Garnish with mint sprig.

(Hendrick's Gin)
As a testament to the wonders of travel, the Traveler’s Testament refreshes the most worldly of travelers.

 

Ingredients
1.5 oz Hendrick's Gin
.75 oz Rooibos Tea
.5 oz Fresh squeezed Lime Juice
.75 oz Raspberry Syrup
1 tablespoon Toasted Coconut Flakes
1 Egg Whites

Garnish: Raspberry
Glass: Rocks
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Combine ingredients and shake very well, double strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Allow a raspberry or two for garnish.

Twitched Like a Fiddle String

Ingredients
1000 ml Half Moon Orchard Gin
3000 ml sparkling apple cider
White Balsamic Vinegar
applesauce
Demerara sugar
Basement Bitters

Garnish: lime pinwheels
Glass: highball
Ice: cubes

Instructions
Mix white balsamic with applesauce and Demerara sugar. Let stand for a week at room temperature. Strain and use the salubrious liquid as the base. Add the gin and the sparkling cider. Garnish with lime pinwheels.
